My Identity
Some parts of my Identity is playing sports like Golf, Baseball and Basketball I also sing in choir and play the cello in orchestra and solo. 7th grade has helped shape my Identity and changed how I look at the world.
As you might already know the seventh-grade level lens is Identity, or learning about yourself. My class and I have each dived into our own personal identity and have learned all about ourselves. This year I have learned all about my identity by doing projects on family migration and writing about my own experiences. My class also created masks that share our identity.
My myth reflected the original moral in a few ways because, in the original story I was not taking care of my younger brother and he hurt himself and I learned to take better care of him. In the myth it tells this story but in a fantastical way.
My significant adult for this TPOL is Monica Sill. She is a family friend and a church member who sets a really good example to me and everyone she meets. I want to be like her because she is patient, kind and forgiving. Some examples of her demonstrating these things are when she lets my brother sit with her during church and has patience as they are pestering her. Another example is when she forgives me when I make a mistake. I am over at her property helping her build her house a lot and sometimes I break something and she always helps me fix it.
