MATH

In math we are learning about area and surface area my goal for math is this semester is to work on and improve my geometry. I think it is the one I struggle with the most by the end of the year. I would like to be in 7th grade.I will accomplish my goal by working at home on Ixl and Khan academy.

Unit 1 :area and surface area reflection

In this unit we learned about decomposing and rearranging shapes and how to find area. In this unit we worked with a lot of 2d shapes and some 3d shapes.

Unit 2 Ratios,Rates and percentages

In this unit so far we have learned the difference between the quantities . Overall in this unit we will learn Ratios ,rates and proportions as well as percentages .

unit 1 ASSESSMENT

I think overall I did pretty good on the assessment I liked my score.

Overall I got one question wrong so I don't think I could anything better except look back at my work and refine .

I would use refinement more if we did this test again and on the next test I will use refinement more.

unit two exit ticket

On the exit ticket I got every question right the first time except the super challenge.

Next time I think that I could put more thought into the challenge problem because I kinda gave up.

Next time if I do the challenge problem again I would put in more effort because after like 4 minutes I was starting to give up.

Unit 2 ASSESSMENT

On this assessment i did very well and was overall happy with my grade/score.I got an 8 out of 9 on this test which is a meets.

I could have got a better score if i really went back and refined.Next time i will try to refine more and get that last question right.

Unit 4: equations and expressions

In this unit I learned about dependent and independent variables.Writing and solving expressions and equations.The distributing property.Lastly expanded form .I did great in all of these categories. The thing I struggled with the most was. dependent and independent variables this was hard at first but then I final got it after a few days. The thing I did best was the distributing property.I thought this was simple and a cool idea.

Percentages quiz

I think that i did very well on the percentages quiz .I aced the percentages quiz getting 8 out of 8.I think that i did weal by going back and checking my work which ended up help getting another answer right.Which is a skill I can bring into my future career .

Unit five: proportional relations.

This unit was all about constants and proportional retaliation ships this was a meh unit for me this was a meh init I ended up getting a meats with not getting anything wrong. I didn't feel that great ,Until the end which is good that I ended up good. I did good on the test with showing refinement I would have got a lot more problems wrong if I did't use refinement.
