This is a student led conference so I will be telling you about my work and the teachers will be around if you have any questions or concerns. You can ask me questions about my work or about upcoming work at the end. I hope you enjoy looking at what I have learned so far this year! Let's get started

Goal setting

Ever year in purpose learning we have set goals that we will try and reach by the end of the year or by the time we have set. The purpose of setting these goals is to:
Learn how to set a goal in a reasonable way
To have something to look forward to in the future
Those are a few reason's why I think goal setting is important. Let's take a look at my goals themselves.

Respect
My goal for respect is to show respect to self by using more positive self statements.
I can apply this to one of my classes by showing respect towards my teachers.
Effort
I can seek out and takes on challenge extensions.
I can apply this to my classes by taking on any challenges that they give us.
Refinement
My goal for refinement is to confidently seeks out resources and supports when needed in order to create higher quality work
I can make sure to refine my work to get a better grade in class.
Integrity
My goal for integrity is to provide reminders to others to act professionally and do the right thing.
I can remind my classmates to be quite while walking between classes.
Art goal
Art goal
What we have done: In art we have been working on many different kinds of art. We started my using colored pencil and then we used water colors and know we are using pen. It has been nice to learn how to work with all different kinds of art enunciates.
My goal on art if to get better by the end of the semester and not give up even when things get hard. I am not the best at art so I think this is a good goal for me.
