Something in this lab is that we opened rock to see what they were inside to see if they were sedimentary rock or metamorphic  rock and igneous. 

We learned all of the layers of rock and how you can find them in rock that you see everyday.

The habit of heart and mind that I used the most was effort  because I put a lot of effort in to this project. 

This lab helped me understand all of the different types of rocks  because the lab was fun and engaging.  

One thing that we did in this lab we made is  google slid and it was filled with questions on the tectonic plates  and my grade was an exceeds. 

 We learned about the three tectonic plates boundary  subduction,  convergent, transforment.

The habit of heat and mind that I used the most was refinement because I refine all of my work to make sure that  my answers were right. 

The plate tectonic lab helped me understand all of the tectonic plate boundaries and it was fun to learn about.     

Learning target: I can construct a scientific explanation based on evidence from rock strata for how the geologic time scale is used to organize earth’s 4.6-billion-year-old history. I met the learning target. I think that I could have done better  putting in more refinement just to make sure that everything was right before I turned it in. One thing that I like about it was making different rock layers and studying them. I thought that it was fun overall. How I can put this into my future is learning how to refine my work more before i turn it in.
