Today I have Chosen my great grandpa LaVern Nelson because he is a great and inspiring Person 

He demonstrated the habits of heart and mind for 

Respect:  He  was Always kind to everyone he met and everywhere we went my grandpa made friends.

Integrity: My grandpa was a man of his word and you could always count on him to be there for his family and friends.          

Effort: Grandpa always added wire ,electrical tape or paint to everything he worked on and added his own touch to It. We joked about this and called it lavernizing.

Refinement:  He was a craftsman and uses refinement to perfect his stills constantly making adjustments to his inventions and art Like his bird houses. 

I will try to be like this person in my life by being kind to others and Reliable. 

You may have noticed that he is not here and that is because he has sadly passed away at the age of 98.
