Students will learn all about the 3 different branches of government and how they function together. We will learn about the roles and responsibilities within each branch and how these officials are elected.
In this unit, students consider the importance of water as a natural resource. Students investigate the distribution of water, how it cycles through Earth’s systems, and explore how it affects human societies.
Students will learn all about the different elements of geography. We will spend time reading and creating maps and using latitude and longitude to find the exact location. Students will learn about natural and human made characteristics. We will spend time discussing how we have adapted and modified the environment around us.
In this unit, students investigate the processes of weathering and erosion. Students explore the process of volcanic eruptions and apply their knowledge to design solutions to mitigate the impacts of these processes on humans.
