Mrs. Peterson

Hello! My name is Becky Peterson, and I am so excited to your child's teacher this year.  This is my 12th year of teaching and my sixth year at Turtle Lake. Previously, I taught one year of third grade in St. Cloud and five years of 5th grade in Winchester, Virginia. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire with my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education in 2013. In 2019, I received my master's degree in Math Education from George Mason University. As a teacher, I am so passionate about helping students learn and grow! Building strong, positive relationships with my students and their families is so important to me as an educator. I strive to make my classroom a fun, joyful place where kids feel welcomed, valued, and successful!
