As I begin my 23rd year of teaching in the Mounds View School District, I am so thrilled to be teaching 4th grade at Island Lake! After teaching music and 5th grade in three other schools in the district, it feels great to call Island Lake my home. I went to Luther College in Decorah, Iowa and received my Master’s Degree through Saint Mary’s University. My husband, Aaron, and I have a seventeen-year-old son named Brady, a daughter named Ellie who is fifteen, and an thirteen-year-old son named Riley. We moved to Shoreview ten summers ago and love living in this beautiful city! My hobbies include going on walks, reading, going to the cabin, playing piano, being outside, and spending quality time with my family and friends. I love teaching children and working with my amazing colleagues. This will be a wonderful year in 4th grade!
