The following choirs meet for one hour each day during school. At first glance, it may seem like Treble Choir is a preparatory group for Varsity Singers, but do not be fooled! Treble Choirs offer treble voice parts a completely different experience than they receive in mixed ensembles. Therefore, while it is not required, Mr. Brown encourages all students to participate in choir for all four years, so as to maximize their opportunities to experience wonderful music.
Treble Choir is made up of Freshmen and Sophomore Altos and Sopranos. They sing different music throughout the year in preparation for their four concerts, including -- but not limited to -- foreign language pieces, classical music, popular music, a cappella music, musical theatre, and music of the Romantic era. Students will learn how to read music, as well as gain a basic understanding of Music Theory during their time in Treble Choir.
