Mission Statement

The mission of the IKM-Manning Talented and Gifted Program is to provide meaningful experiences and enhanced learning opportunities structured to help students discover, explore, and grow in their passions, talents, and abilities.

Gifted Education Goals

Cognitive

1. To strengthen achievement in academic areas.

  • Students will engage in advanced reading, writing and comprehension in all content areas.
  • Students will improve computation skills and apply them across the K-12 curriculum.
  • Students will understand, use and apply scientific principles and reasoning to improve achievement.
  • Students will improve technological literacy skills to advance achievement throughout the K-12 curriculum.

  • Students will select, read, and comprehend material for information and enjoyment.
