Fashion Design

Students on the Fashion Design pathway are encouraged to first develop their ideas in a sketchbook. They are encouraged to take a creative approach to the subject, often selecting non fashion starting points for research including historical, political and social themes. Through this detailed investigation they learn the importance of silhouette as well as using detail and fabrics to enhance their outcomes. Everything we do is underpinned by drawing and they students learn to communicate their ideas clearly as well as learning to develop a personal style with their fashion illustration.
