Inspired by the Damien Hirst exhibition, Schizophrenogenesis, I was able to tell the story of Gypsy´s drug abuse, at the hands of her mother, by incorporating images of his large scale pill bottles and prescription drugs. The imagery allowed me to portray how the drugs controlled Gypsy´s life, leaving her feeling trapped and consumed by them.

After telling the story of Gypsy´s abuse, I began to focus on Dee Dee´s overprotective parenting and started to portray the irony of an overprotective parent´s decision.
