UNDERCOVER SS20
Identity project inspired by my family history and research into the art and culture in the life of my great, great uncle Edward Le Bas. He was a post-impressionist painter and was a part of the Bloomsbury Group, who he often stayed with at Charleston, East Sussex. My research into this period of art and the groups' activities at Charleston gave me ideas for fashion inspiring me to create prints from the paintings, and shapes from a deconstructed Georgian chair I found and took apart.
MOWALOLA SS19
As a child I had lots of strange habits but one that always struck out to me as an interesting fashion idea is that i could never stop cutting and ripping my tights. I created this project to reflect my childhood habits and to also reference from my favourite memories from my youth such as watching Edward Scissor Hands and the Wizard of Oz and cutting things up and pulling out my teeth.
