Testing how the various colours of the tie-dyes looked with ink, watercolour pens and sewing thread. Plus, testing how more fluid and cursive fonts look on the combinations of colours. Definitely influenced my football shirt ideas and outcomes.

Exploring the digital editing side of texts and fonts is easier because different documents have various fonts to choose from in order to express the themes. Also, the layering of the images allows the fonts to look exuberant and different images have fonts from articles/films.

Doing experiements for texts and fonts organically allowed some of the pieces to have a more graffiti, cursive, playful and energetic appearance. Each idea I created fed into areas of my FMP and helped me see where I wanted to take certain pieces, in order for the project to feel cohesive, professional and contextual throughout. Plus, experiementing with various materials and colours allowed me to see how the emotions football supporters feel and the passion they have could feed into the typography as well.
