RESEARCH - MATERIAL EXPERIMENTATION
I wanted to explore the primary research further by experimenting with the images I took at the stadium to see how they would look as artistic pieces that may influence my programme and football shirt designs later in the project. My main focus was to make sure that I kept my playful nature when experimenting, yet have a professional and clear look to the work that links well with the research I produced to demonstrate cohesion. Plus, I wanted them to have colours in them that matched with Charlton's overall branding.
Experimenting with photocopying my football programmes and tickets onto laminate to test how the colours and text look when on a transparent/shiny material. Some colours came out bubbly, yet I think that enhances the chaotic/glitchy feel the project has. Also, the tickets came out the best, due to their scale, yet the laminates as a whole added a playful and exploratory aspect to the FMP.
Title page for the FMP that I designed on 'Photofox'. The glitch effect showcases the dysfunctionality within football and the underlying factors (layered look) that can cause teams to crumble or become better. Plus, adding Charlton's branding colours and match programmes brings authenticity and passion into the title page.
