Morgana Wilborn is a multidisciplinary creative, educator, and cultural producer devoted to storytelling as a tool for connection, liberation, and care. Her work lives at the intersection of theater, photography, arts education, and community engagement, grounded in the belief that art is a public good and a responsibility to one another.
A native of Dallas, Texas, Morgana holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from the University of North Texas and a Master of Arts in Theatre from the University of Houston. She has spent her career building access to the arts, first as a theater educator within public schools and later as a leader advancing inclusive, community-centered programming at major cultural institutions.
Morgana has served as Director of Education at the Tony Award-winning Dallas Theater Center, supporting thousands of students, educators, and families through meaningful arts experiences. As a director, performer, and collaborator, she has worked with theater companies committed to bold storytelling and cultural truth.
Beyond the stage, Morgana is the founder of Photo Noire, a photography studio rooted in memory, legacy, and the documentation of real lives. She is also the principal of Parable Brands & Services LLC, a creative and consulting practice inspired by Parable of the Sower—centering change, imagination, and collective survival through arts education, oral history, and cultural strategy.
Currently based in the Midwest, Morgana continues her work as an Associate Artistic Director at Kansas City Repertory Theatre while producing projects that honor humanity, curiosity, and care.
At her core, Morgana is a servant to all humankind, guided by intuition, compassion, and the belief that how we tell our stories shapes how we live together.
