February 6, 2024 - For the second year in a row a record number of Morgan County students have been selected to participate in this years District honor band. This is an incredible achievement for the school and is a testament to the hard work and dedication of all of our students. Congratulations to all who auditioned.

The Bulldog band attended the 14th annual Oconee Classic at Baldwin High School Stadium on September 27th and achieved:

⭐ ALL SUPERIOR ratings for Drum Major, Color Guard, Percussion, and Band

🥇 Best in Class Drum Majors

🥇 Best in Class Percussion

🥇 1st Place Percussion out of 15 bands

🥉 3rd Place Band out of 15 bands

Congratulations to Morgan County High School senior Justin Bailey for being named a Semifinalist in the 71st annual National Merit Scholarship Program! We are thankful for all you offer to this program!

Apr 4, 2025 - The 7th grade band played for a panel of nationally acclaimed judges and received straight superior ratings from all three! 

March 13, 2025 - The One Morgan Band had the 7th grade, 8th grade, Concert, and Symphonic bands participate in the GMEA District IV Large Group Performance Evaluation last week! Each of the four bands received superior ratings from all of the judges for both their prepared selections and sight-reading!

Congratulations to all of our students who participated! Great job!!!

September 28, 2024 - The Marching Band presented their show at the Oconee Classic and took home the AAAA class champion trophy! Other awards included second runner up Grand Champions, Best in Competition Percussion, Best in Competition Music, Best in Class Percussion, Best in Class Music, Best in Class Color Guard. Congratulations to all students and a special thanks to everyone who supported the band along the way!
