Class Champions!
September 28, 2024 - The Marching Band presented their show at the Oconee Classic and took home the AAAA class champion trophy! Other awards included second runner up Grand Champions, Best in Competition Percussion, Best in Competition Music, Best in Class Percussion, Best in Class Music, Best in Class Color Guard. Congratulations to all students and a special thanks to everyone who supported the band along the way!

March 14, 2024 - The One Morgan Band had the 7th grade, 8th grade, Concert, and Symphonic bands participate in the GMEA District IV Large Group Performance Evaluation last week! Each of the four bands received superior ratings from all of the judges for both their prepared selections and sight-reading!

March 12, 2024 - Congratulations to One Morgan band senior students Shrey Patel and Chase Scherer! At the senior class meeting last week, it was announced that Shrey will be Valedictorian and Chase will be the Salutatorian!
Morgan County Sends 32 Students to GMEA District IV Honor Band
February 3, 2024 - Morgan County band students participated in this year's GMEA District IV Honor Band. Over the course of the weekend, students had the opportunity to rehearse and perform under the batons of three outstanding conductors: Ms. Jennifer Isenhour, Dr. Shiree Williams, and Dr. Quincy Hilliard. Congratulations to our 2024 district honor band participants!

Drum Major Shrey Patel Named STAR Student
January 31, 2024 - Senior saxophone player and 2023 drum major Shrey Patel was named as the Class of 2024 STAR Student for the 2023-2024 school year! The STAR award is awarded to the senior with the highest SAT score in their class. Congratulations Shrey!
MCMS 6th Grade Winter Band Concert
January 30, 2024 - Mrs. Seymour, Mr. Duggins, Ms. Mullins, Ms. Jiang and the 6th Grade Band classes gave a fantastic first concert with instruments! The 6th grade students showed off what they've been learning these first few months with their instruments. Students demonstrated many lines from their Essential Elements book and their first piece of sheet music: "12 The Clock Strikes"! All in all, a great concert from our newest members to the One Morgan Band program!
