Hola! My name is Ms. Kitzi and I am a school counselor and licensed marriage and family therapist at MMS! This is my first year with the Moreland Wellness and Counseling team and I am excited to be here!

I speak Spanish!
I have a certified therapy dog at home named Pachita.
My favorite coping skills are listening to and/or playing music, dancing for fun, working out, taking a nap, cuddling with my dog, and tending to my plantitas.

My name is Ms. Alvarez, and this is my third year as a School Counselor at Moreland Middle School. As your School Counselor, I am here to support your social-emotional development and academic performance. I provide individual counseling, small group counseling, classroom lessons, and conflict mediation. I look forward to getting to know you this school year! Here are some fun facts about me.
Fun Facts:
I like to travel. I have traveled to Mexico, the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, and Morocco.
My favorite coping skills to use are the Five-Finger Breathing Exercise and listening to music.
My favorite foods are sushi, ramen, Pozole, and Tacos!
I attended CSU Stanislaus for my bachelor's degree and San Jose State University for my master's degree.
My favorite music genres are hip hop, rap, and reggaetón.
I learned to speak English when I was five years old. I speak, read, and write in English and Spanish.

About Me:
My name is Mrs. Gray and I have been with Moreland for four years as a Mental Health Clinician. My hope is to be able to be a safe and supportive trusted adult on campus for students to feel comfortable talking about any issues related to their social and emotional well being. I look forward to meeting my 8th grade class as well as interacting with other grade level students.

I have two kids
I love to spend time with my husband and kids on the weekend
I received my bachelors and masters at San Jose State University
My favorite coping skill is binge watching reality tv shows, getting my nails done, and listening to music
