This group is meant for students who have a hard time managing their feelings; specifically when it comes to anger. Many strategies and topics will be discussed such as: positive coping skills, mindfulness, what anger is/what it feels like in our body, feelings exploration, appropriate classroom/recess behavior, etc.
This group is meant for students who need help making friends and other fulfilling connections. The group targets skills such as perspective-taking, conversation skills, friendship skills, problem-solving, social competence, emotion recognition, etc. Mastering social skills, like responding appropriately to situations and empathizing with peers are important for building strong social relationships.
