Your program (either the M.Ed. in Educational Leadership or the Tier I Certificate Add-On only) is comprised of two major parts: the classes you must take (earning a grade of A or B) and the clinical leadership practice (the clinical hours you must log). By the end of your program, you will capture your engagement in the coursework and in the clinical practices in a digital portfolio. The portfolio is a program requirement, and it serves as your program's culminating project. Below are...

Portfolio Submission Instructions
Beginning Fall 2026, final portfolio submissions are due a month before classes end during the term in which you are scheduled to complete the program (see "Review Cycles" below) to allow enough time for portfolios to be reviewed, revised, and approved before grades are due and degrees are conferred. Not adhering to the deadlines may result in the postponement of your graduation until the following term and your eligibility to apply for your GaPSC Tier I endorsement.
Before submitting your portfolio, make sure it contains all the required components. Then follow the instructions HERE to ensure your portfolio is public and ready to share.
Submit your portfolio using the Tier I Portfolio Submission form for review.
After your portfolio is reviewed, you will receive an email stating whether it has been approved or needs revision.
Once your portfolio has been approved, you will receive the next steps for applying for your GaPSC Tier I endorsement.
Portfolio Support Cycles
If you would like to submit your portfolio for feedback before your final submission and/or schedule 1:1 support, you may do so during one of our feedback and support periods.
Portfolio Review Cycles
For final portfolio submissions, please adhere to the deadlines below. Note that revised portfolios must be resubmitted by the end of the revision period using the submission form.
If you have any questions regarding the portfolio or submission process, please email Dr. Rumbaugh (wrumbaugh@gsu.edu) and/or his graduate assistant, Ashley Moore (amoore84@gsu.edu).
