TRYOUT FAQS

How much does it cost to tryout?

$50 for online pre-registration OR $75 the day of tryouts.

What if I missed tryouts?

We encourage players to participate in tryouts so the players are seen in the context of a team. If you cannot make it to tryouts please contact us to find the best solution.

On the registration form, what position should I say I want to play?

Please check the position the player is most comfortable playing. If you are not sure or you have been playing a different position, please check all that apply.

When will teams be determined?

Teams will be announced by the first Monday after tryouts.

Do I need to bring any specific paperwork to tryouts?

• Copy of Birth Certificate

• 2021-22 AAU Membership/USAV Membership

• Copy of Medical Treatment Consent Form for a Minor

• Copy of Medical Release Form

I registered for tryouts, but cannot attend. What do I do?

If you cannot attend tryouts, please contact the Director of Volleyball to arrange for an alternate tryout.

Should I register for tryouts even if I cannot attend the dates?

Yes. You should complete your registration and contact us to arrange for an alternate tryout date.

Can my child "play up"?

Yes, if your child is selected by the coaching staff to play on an older team, then she/he can "play up"
