Course Description:

This course immerses students in a diverse range of literary genres and themes, with a strong emphasis on personal narrative, literary nonfiction, contemporary fiction, and drama. Across four quarters, students will engage with texts, enhancing their reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills through mastery learning and inquiry-based learning strategies.

Throughout the year, students will develop critical thinking, analytical, and communication skills, preparing them for college-level work and real-world applications.
