7th Grade Family and Consumer Science

7th grade Family and Consumer Science is an exploratory that takes place for approximately 9 weeks. 7th graders will each take four different exploratories in rotation during the year. During this class we will learn about decision-making tied to financial decisions through Foundations in Personal Finance Curriculum by Dave Ramsey, NGPF (Next Gen Personal Finance), and learn about basic banking skills such as those needed with checking and savings accounts with Your Checking Account, and attempt to make it on their own in an online simulation from Everfi. We might also participate in an online stock simulation.
