To access student accounts, students simply log in to their Chromebook using their email address and password. Student passwords are set initially to the following standard: FIRST INITIAL (uppercase), last initial (lowercase), and last 6 digits of their student ID number.
*P-2 Students will use a QR code to log in to Chromebooks.*
If students are not using a school issued device, accounts can also be accessed HERE on any web browser. The same instructions apply.
Once students log in to RapidIdentity for the first time, the account has been successfully setup. Please note:
All students P-5 will NOT be required to reset this password after their first login.
All Students 6-12 WILL BE REQUIRED to change this password after their first login.
Resetting student passwords has just become faster and easier with Rapid Identity! Teachers now have access to reset the passwords for all of their rostered students. To reset a student password, follow these steps:
Log in to your Rapid Identity Portal.
Select the “People” icon in your portal.
In your “People” module, select “My Students” on the left side menu.
Find the student that needs the password reset and click the 3 dots to the left of their name.
From the menu, select “change password”
Update the student’s password according to the policy on the page.
When assisting students with password resets, please adhere to the following guidance:
All student passwords should be unique to each student. You may not reset student passwords to be the same for multiple students.
Student passwords should never be stored where they can be accessed by anyone other than themselves.
Students should be advised to never share their password information with anyone else.
Student passwords should adhere to the student password policy listed in Rapid Identity.
Student password insecurity is linked to many past behavioral issues and should be diligently monitored.
STUDENT GO!VIEW PORTAL
The Rapid Identity GoView! Student Portal is a landing page where all student resources are ready at their fingertips. Unlike staff members, students are not able to add shortcuts to their portals. Student applications and programs will be preloaded by the district based on grade level and location. Most applications that are added by the district will have Single Sign-On (SSO) functionality, meaning you only have to log in to the portal with your username, password, and MFA to access all of the programs each day. Check back for updates as we roll out the entire Rapid Identity experience.
