I can't remember my password and I'm not able to log in to my computer or email. What do I do?
To reset your password without access to your device, you can go to the Rapid Identity sign in page on any device that has access to a browser (your cell phone, a co-worker's computer, a student Chromebook, etc.) and reset your password from there. If you do not have access to an alternate device, please see a building administrator for assistance with a password reset.
I'm locked out of my Happy Fox account. How do I get back in?
On the Happy Fox sign in page, you can select "forgot password" and reset your Happy Fox password anytime. If you try too many times and get locked out, a member of the Tech team will be notified and will unlock your account.
Why do I no longer have access to Microsoft Office applications?
Due to changes to Microsoft Licensing, you may lose access to your Microsoft Office desktop applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.). All staff will have access to the web version of these Microsoft Office products. To access your web applications, navigate to m365.cloud.microsoft on any browser, sign in with your Microsoft credentials, and click the waffle menu in the top left corner of the Copilot homepage. If you have questions about your licensing, please put in a Happy Fox ticket.
Can I get my work email on my phone?
Yes! While the technology department does not support personal devices, you may add your work email to your phone, tablet, or personal computer. You may use the Outlook app or webmail through Microsoft 365 to access your email on any of these devices. Just register as a work account and use your email and password to login.
*Disclaimer: The technology department does not assist with installing or troubleshooting email on personal devices. You may do this at your own risk and be advised that any personal devices used for this purpose may be monitored and accessible by the technology department.
I'm trying to connect a personal device to the wi-fi. How do I connect it?
*If you are trying to access the wireless network "MCSGuest", it is currently unavailable. It is undergoing long-term maintenance at this time.
*If your device does not have a login screen to connect to wifi, we cannot connect it to the district network.
For guest wireless access, use the "MCS-Wifi" network. To get access, you must register a good, accessible email address. Once you register, you will receive an email with an access password and login info. If you are not able to access the guest wireless networks on a personal device, the technology department is not able to troubleshoot these devices. District-issued devices should not be connected to the guest wireless.
