Create an infographic using Adobe Illustrator informing me (and you) about Typography. Please fill out a proposal form from the website before you begin and fill out a turn-in reflection form when you are done.
You need to include the following:
- Why Is Typography Important?
- Typography Definitions & Terms (Typefaces vs. Fonts, Baseline, Cap height, X-height, Bowl, Serif, Descender, Ligature, Stem, Spine, Ascender, Cross bar, Counter, Finial, Terminal, Kerning, Tracking, Leading, and Hierarchy)
- Type Classifications (serif, sans serif, slab serif, blackletter, script, modern, and decorative) --> Define each classification and show an example.
- Type Families - define and name each family, and show an example of each.
- Typography Fonts: Find and show an example of each of the classifications, different from the examples you showed above.
- Please use graphics (labeled for reuse with modification) and words in your designs. Use no more than 2 fonts for your information.
