The Making Accessible and Effective Systems for Teacher Readiness Outcomes (MAESTROs) program supports all future teachers with multiple educational pathways that lead to a teaching credential. Students can choose to transfer to their school of choice and have more flexibility in terms of their personal timeline to graduation at Hartnell College. Students interested in elementary, secondary and special education pathways can join MAESTROs.
The Teacher Pathway Program (TPP) is a Hartnell College - CSU Monterey Bay collaborative, offering students the opportunity to earn an Associates, Bachelor's degree, and multiple-subject teaching credential in a cohort-based program.
With financial support from the Claire Giannini Fund and Monterey Peninsula Foundation, the Teacher Pathway Program seeks to meet the critical teacher shortage in Monterey County through a "grow your own" collaborative by tapping into our local talent and developing passionate educators.
The Teacher Pathway Program (TPP) is a Monterey Peninsula College - CSU Monterey Bay collaboration intended to respond to our community's teacher shortage by facilitating the pathway for local prospective teachers who wish to earn their teaching credentials. The program provides a pathway from MPC's AA-T Elementary Teacher Education program to CSUMB's Liberal Studies bachelor's degree with a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential along with a California Subject Examinations for Teachers® (CSET) waiver. Join us in our "Grow our Own" initiative to prepare prospective teachers to use their culturally responsive experience to teach students in their community!
