ACE Sophomores posing with their project after winning first place in the All Schools Day Mentorship competition.
On October 18, 2025, six ACE sophomores along with Mr. Wilson and ACE Mentor Ms Cindie went to the Carpenters Training Center in Carson to compete in the All Schools Day ACE Mentorship competition. They were assigned to build a popsicle stick bridge with only the materials provided: 225 sticks of three different types (coffee stirrers, jumbo, and regular), hot glue gun with 2 gluesticks, tape, a sheet of paper, markers, and scissors. The design had to be thought of on the spot, with only two hours to build it. The bridge, along with a tower attached, had to be at least 18 inches tall, 24 inches long, and 9 inches wide. Out of 20 schools, ATC took 1st place for strongest, carrying 97.5 pounds, and 2nd place for most efficient. Go ACE!
