Expenditures must support the educational, cultural, athletic, recreational, or social interests of students. When in doubt, use the Public Scrutiny Test.
Before spending the money, ask:
✅Does it benefit students?
✅Was it approved by students?
✅Does it support an educational, cultural, athletic, recreational, or social purpose?
✅ Would it pass the Public Scrutiny Test?
Your students must approve all expenses and they must be shown in your club minutes.
School organizations MUST spend 80% of the money they raised in the fiscal school year. They are only able to carryover 20%.
