Beginning in May 2018 all of your Outlook - Email, Calendar, and Contacts will begin migrating to your G Suite account. During this time, you will be able to log into and send mail from your G Suite account, but you will not see much email in your inbox. New mail that you receive at the time of migration will be delivered to your G Suite account, and you will be able to interact with and organize this mail during the migration. You will also have read-only access to your former Outlook account, in case you need to reference any critical emails at this time.
After the migration begins, you will be able to access your new G Suite account by opening up Chrome and navigating to gmail.com. You will type in your usual work email credentials and password.
By January 2018, we aim that each and every employee will be able to log into G Suite and will be able to view at least the most recent 30 days of mail. All of your historical mail will eventually migrate over during the following week, so you should notice that your G Suite inbox will grow in size over the first few days.
In the meantime, if you need access to an email and it is not yet in G Suite, you will be able to go back to your Outlook account to reference it.
If you don’t see any of your mail in your folders for the first few days, that is also completely normal and expected. We will be migrating over the contents of your folders and subfolders, but if they contain older mail then initially you may not see any messages in your folder or subfolders.
