ASB is a community
In many schools, the ASB is more than just a student government or leadership group. Members often describe it as a family because:
Teamwork: Everyone works together to plan dances, rallies, fundraisers, and spirit weeks.
Shared goals: They’re united by the purpose of serving and representing the student body.
Support system: Members encourage one another, celebrate successes, and help through challenges.
Bonding: Spending lots of time organizing events and solving problems builds strong friendships.
Inclusion: Ideally, everyone’s voice is valued, just like in a family.
So when people say “ASB is like a family,” they’re highlighting the close connections, trust, and sense of belonging that develops among members.
ASB provides funding for a variety of exciting events and activities that bring our school community together. These include:
8th Grade Field Day
7th Grade R & R
6th Grade Field Day
Mayfest
8th Grade Dance
Kindness Week
Support for Field Trips
Through these contributions, ASB helps make lasting memories and fun experiences possible for all students.
