Educational Philosophy:
We enjoy helping students feel empowered as curious, capable learners.
Through direct skill-building lessons (called toolbox skills) and invitations to explore using questions and investigations, students apply their learning to research and real-world situations alike. Our teaching styles leave lots of room for individual learning styles and interests while providing structures and frameworks to allow opportunities for deep, meaningful learning.
We value collaborative, meaningful work, as well as building an accepting, supportive learning community. Families are the heart of a Parent Partnership Program and we love collaborating to make learning joyful and fulfilling for everyone involved.
We use technology sparingly and thoughtfully,
focusing class time on creative, hands-on experiences.
