The SSC meets seven times a year to review and approve the school’s School Plan for Student Achievement that includes the school goals, and the state and federal funds allocated toward this plan. The SSC is also responsible for recommending the School Plan to the Board of Education for approval, monitoring the implementation of the plan, and evaluating the results. The School Site Council consists of 3 parents or community members, 3 students, and 6 school staff. Students serve a one-year term and parent/community members and school staff serve two-year terms.
