What's the difference?

High School requirements are REQUIRED for all students to graduate.

A-G requirements are required for eligibility to apply directly to a 4 year university after high school.

How do I read this?

Each letter at the top (A-G) has requirements listed under it.  So it's essential that students take the amount of years required under each specific section to be A-G eligible by their senior year.

For example: Math 

(3 years required, 4 recommended). 

If a student takes Algebra I, Geometry and Algebra II, they have fulfilled the requirement.  However, for best results of acceptance to their desired university, we'd recommend that a 4th year of math also be taken.
