Monash MERCi is a joint initiative by the School of Engineering, School of Medicine and School of Information Technology, Monash University Malaysia. Monash MERCi aims to foster greater interdisciplinary research collaborations in the field of medicine and healthcare.
Monash MERCi started off as a visit by a team of academics from the School of Engineering to Clinical School Johor Bahru in April 2024 to explore potential collaboration between the two schools.
Monash MERCi is driven by academics and healthcare professionals from the School of Engineering, School of nformation Technology and School of Medicine, with a passion for improving healthcare.
Our focus is to address current and future unmet healthcare challenges by facilitating effective collaboration among clinicians, engineers and technology specialists.

Facilitate research collaborations between SoE, SoIT and SoM by following the developments of the research projects and providing support when necessary.
