2024 "Welcome home" Reunion 

In July 2024, after the International Students Acculturation Program (ISAP) has been running for 5 years, Tammie organised a "Welcome Home" reunion and invited international alumni (those who were once international students) to a networking activity. We had 35 graduates from our 2019 to 2024 cohorts at the event. Tammie facilitated an Asian style networking (yup, no wine in hand and no uncomfortable small talk! Oops.) and walked down the memory lane together. The alumni recognised their roles as "older sisters and brothers" to our current and future international students. Everyone was keen to stay connected to Monash and offer a helping hand to the emerging Monash-trained dietitians learning in a foreign land. What could be a better way than this family-like support for our international students!

Monash Dietetics family in Hong Kong

Our Monash Dietetics family in Hong Kong is growing bigger and stronger! In Jan 2025, Tammie gathered our alumni in Hong Kong and facilitated a "get to know your Monash brothers and sisters" dinner. They graduated from year 2018 to year 2023, now working across different dietetics sectors in clinical, community health & research. All are proud Monash-trained Dietitians love the chance to reconnect with one another and refresh their memories of good old Monash days!
