Boys' brigade

Introduction

The Boys' Brigade in Singapore is a Uniformed Group (UG) for youth, which desires to nurture all-rounded and world-ready members. We do so by providing fun, meaningful and challenging activities. Through the proficiency awards scheme, our members acquire skills and knowledge on personal mastery, leadership, global awareness and community spiritedness.

Our Aim

To help members develop and grow in moral character
To train members to become loyal and responsible citizens
To promote members' physical fitness and develop their leadership potential

Every year, we commemorate our founding in Singapore on 12 Jan 1930.

Enrolment Service

A yearly affair where we formally enrol our new recruits into the Company.

Company Camps

Company Camps are exciting events where we have fun working with others, honing our leadership skills.

BB CARES

We practise Values-In-Action by finding ways to give back to the community.

Character Quest

Annual National Competition based on character values and Bible knowledge.

Adventure Quest

Annual National Competition for P6s held in an outdoor environment, testing fitness, teamwork and skills.

Badgework

Badgework covers a range of lifeskills to develop competencies in areas like first aid, campcraft, etc.

Games

Our Boys look forward to fun events organised to build camaraderie and foster teamwork in our squads.

Outings

Outings provide opportunities for our Boys to venture outside their comfort zone and try something new.
