Orientation Programme 

To help our students better adjust to secondary school life, we have specially designed a week of orientation programme for all our Sec 1 students. Academic lessons will start in week 2 (8 Jan 2024).

For Week 1 & 2, our sec 1 students will be organised by Orientation Group and there will be two teachers assigned to look after the student well-being for each class until the students are assigned their CCA form class by end of Week 2.

First day of School (2 January 2024, Tue)

All Sec 1 students are to report to the Sheltered Basketball Court by 0720 on 2 January 2024 (Tue). Our Unity Councillors will be at the school’s foyer to direct the Sec 1 students to the reporting venue.

Students are allowed to report in their primary school uniform if the new uniform is not ready.

If students are unable to report to school on 2 January 2024 due to valid reasons, please contact our General Office (No: 6767 1070) directly.

CCA Experience

Our school offers a broad-based and ability-driven CCA programme that will help to develop and maximise the potential and talents of our students beyond the academic aspect. 

There will be a CCA briefing on 2 January 2024. All Sec One students will have an opportunity to find out more and experience the various CCAs that are offered in Unity Secondary School. Selected CCAs will be conducting trials on the afternoon of 3 - 4 January 2024.

On 5 January 2024, students can have the opportunity to experience all CCA during the CCA open house. They will need to submit their CCA options by the end of the Orientation Week. (Refer to orientation programme above)
