Art Talent Programme (ATP)
Artworks by ATP students (2020-2023)
‘NAN-nime’ is a portmanteau word coined from Nan Chiau High School and anime. It is a customised comic production by the NAN-nimators for NCzens. The Nan-nime project was conceptualised during the Circuit Breaker as online lessons to help students learn and acquire skills in storyboarding and character development in comic drawings. They were given relatable themes on mental health and relationship issues. Through their comic illustrations, the NAN-nimators created their stories and suggested solutions to overcome the challenges faced.

School is our second home where we spent most of our time finding our ways with academic and about ourselves. We all have our own private corners in school which is meaningful and feels close to, be it spending time with friends or just being solo day dreaming away.
It is really daunting to learn that a single A4 sheet of paper we use so carelessly each time takes 10 litres of water to produce! We wanted to show with simple act we take, we can make a difference to aid the sustainability of our world, such as creating our portraits and memories digitally without fancy software, we save tones of trees and water!
We are a group of ATP students who enjoy doing Art, doodling in particular. ATP allows us to explore Art beyond what we do in our regular art classrooms. This is a therapeutic project in which we have been given the opportunity to doodle on the glass door panels with the things we like e.g. our favourite comic and game characters and food.
