Subject 1- English Language
Subject 2 - Mother Tongue Language
Subject 3 - Mathematics
Subject 4 - Humanities [ Social Studies + History (SSH) or Social Studies + Geography (SSG) ]
Elective Subjects
Option A - 7 subjects
Subject 5 - Science (Chemistry, Biology) or Science (Physics, Chemistry)
Subject 6 - Art or Design & Technology (D&T) or Nutrition & Food Science (NFS)
Subject 7 - N-level Principles of Accounts (POA)
Characteristic of option:
Prepares students to pursue Science or Engineering based courses at JC, MI or Polytechnic
Prepares students to pursue Art or Design courses at a Polytechnic
Prepares students to pursue Accounting and Finance courses at a Polytechnic
Pre-requisite Criteria:
N-level Principle of Accounts: min 50% for Mathematics (overall)
Note: Students taking basic Mother Tongue Language (MTL) or exempted from MTL, should opt for this 7 subject option so that there will be enough subjects for the JC option (L1R5) at Sec 5.
Option B - 6 subjects
Subject 5 - Science (Chemistry, Biology) or Science (Physics, Chemistry)
Subject 6 - Art or Design & Technology (D&T) or Nutrition & Food Science (NFS)
