Welcome to the TPSS Sec 3 Subject Combination Information Site!
Your child/ward will be making an important decision at the end of Secondary Two. He/She will participate in the Sec 3 Subject Combination Exercise after the end-of-year examination. This exercise provides an opportunity for your child/ward to indicate his/her preferred subject combinations based on academic merit as demonstrated in the overall academic performance at Sec 2 and interest in subjects offered. All subject combinations offered will pave the way for students to pursue post-secondary courses at the various tertiary educational institutions including Junior Colleges, Polytechnics and the Institutes of Technical Education.

14 Feb Sec 2 Parent's Engagement Talk
17 February to 11 Mar 2025 Sec Two Weighted Assessment (Term 1)
28 April to 20 May 2025 Sec Two Weighted Assessment (Term 2)
16 May Information dissemination via Parents Gateway, School Website and Microsite
29 May Online 'Sec 3 Subject Preference Survey' briefing conducted during Co-Curricular Week 1 by Form Teacher.
6 June Parent acknowledgement (via QR code above) of child's submission (via the AllEars Link that will be made 'live' from Sat 31 May 9am in FT Class Whatsapp Chatgroups). This preference survey is to familiarise student & parents with the actual subject combi exercise later in October.
8 July Release of outcome for 'Sec 3 Subject Preference Survey' via AllEars Link in FT Class Whatsapp Chatgroups.
4 to 25 August 2025 Sec Two Weighted Assessment (Term 3)
26 September to 7 October 2025 Sec Two End-of-Year Exams (Term 4)
16 Oct 2nd briefing to students by FTs to deepen their understanding of individual subject's content, assessment and post-secondary prospects. The links to access the AllEars platform will be shared via FT Class Whatsapp Chatgroups by Tuesday, 21 Oct, 5pm.
22-24 Oct Online Subject Combination Selection with parents from home.
IMPORTANT: Parent acknowledgment to be submitted via the QR code on the right by 24 Oct 5pm. The form is live now.

4 Nov Release of subject combination selection results via All Ears Link sent via PG and FT Class WhatsApp Chatgroup.
4-6 Nov Appeal period. Appeals may be made online via the QR code from 4 Nov 2025, 9am to 6 Nov 2025, 3pm. The form is not live now. Appeals after the deadline will be unsuccessful.
We seek parents understanding that emails, phone calls or visits to school outside of the appeal period will NOT be entertained .

12 Nov Release of appeal results at 9am via All Ears Link sent via PG and FT Class WhatsApp Chatgroup. Information about which specific 2026 S3 class students will be in will be shared via the same group chat nearer the end of December.
Kindly note that TPSS will NOT release detailed results of the appeal.
Results of the appeal are FINAL.
Again, we seek parents understanding that emails, phone calls or visits to school after the appeal result will NOT be entertained .
