Dear Parent/Guardian,

Welcome to the TPSS Sec 3 Subject Combination Information Site!

Your child/ward  will be making an important decision at the end of Secondary Two. He/She will participate in the Sec 3 Subject Combination Exercise after the end-of-year examination.  This exercise provides an opportunity for your child/ward to indicate his/her preferred subject combinations based on academic merit as demonstrated in the overall academic performance at Sec  2 and interest in subjects offered. All subject combinations offered will pave the way for students to pursue post-secondary courses at the various tertiary educational institutions including Junior Colleges, Polytechnics and the Institutes of Technical Education.

1-5 Apr Information dissemination via Parents Gateway, School Website and Microsite

               1st Briefing on subject combination to students by FT in class.

13-17 May Online "Mock Subject Combination Selection" based on Semester One results [class time given]

31 May Parent acknowledgement should be uploaded digitally via this link (will be made 'live' from 17 May). This mock selection exercise is to familiarise student & parents with the actual subject combi exercise in October.

28 Jun Release of outcome for  "Mock Subject Combination Selection". 

29 July to 15 August 2024 Sec Two Weighted Assessment (Term 3)

20-22 Aug Taster lessons for Electronics and Principles of Accounts. (Invite will be sent via Parents Gateway)

27 September to 9 October 2024 Sec Two End-of-Year Exams (Term 4)

22-24 Oct 2nd briefing to students by FTs to deepen their understanding of individual subject's content, assessment and post-secondary prospects. 

11 Nov Release of subject combination selection results via All Ears Link sent via PG and FT Class WhatsApp Chatgroup.

21 Nov Release of appeal results at 9am via All Ears Link sent via PG and FT Class WhatsApp Chatgroup.
Kindly note that TPSS will NOT release detailed results of the appeal.
Results of the appeal are FINAL.
Again, we seek parents understanding that emails, phone calls or visits to school after the appeal result will NOT be entertained .
