You will receive a Conduct Grade at the end of Semester 1 and Semester 2 together with the semestral results slip. To further understand what is expected and required of you to achieve a good conduct grade, you should look through the rubrics below that are used to determine the Conduct Grade. You will be given a grade in 4 areas: Attendance/Latecoming, Attire, Academic and Attitude. The combined grade will determine your overall Conduct Grade.
Please note that a Fair Conduct grade affects your eligibility for MOE Edusave and school awards.
Criteria:
Attends school regularly
Punctual to school
Attends CCA regularly
Excellent
100% school attendance (apart from absences with valid reason)
No late-coming
≥ 75% CCA attendance for the semester
Very Good
100% school attendance (apart from absences with valid reason)
1-3 instances of late-coming in 1 semester
≥ 75% CCA attendance for the semester
Good
100% school attendance (apart from absences with valid reason)
4-8 instances of late-coming in 1 semester
≥ 75% CCA attendance for the semester
Fair
1 truancy within a semester
9-11 instances of late-coming in 1 semester (wilful latecoming)
< 75% CCA attendance for the semester
Poor
More than 2 truancies within a semester
12 or more instances of late-coming in a semester (wilful latecoming)
< 75% CCA attendance for the semester
Criteria:
Adheres to school's dress code
Wears appropriate attire during lessons
Excellent
Always adheres to school's dress code
Always in the appropriate attire during lessons
Very Good
Always adheres to school's dress code
Always in the appropriate attire during lessons apart from 1-2 instances
Good
Adheres to school's dress code most of the time
In the appropriate attire during lessons most of the time
Fair
Adheres to school's dress code sometimes
In the appropriate attire during lessons sometimes. Needs occasional reminders from teachers to change attire.
Poor
Does not adhere to dress code most of the time
Needs constant reminders from teachers to change attire.

Has not committed any offence for the semester

Consistently behaves well
Gets along well with classmates
Has not committed more than 2 minor offences for the semester
Has not committed a major/serious offence for the semester
Good
Behaves well most of the time
Gets along well with classmates
Has not committed more than 5 minor offences for the semester
Has not committed a major/serious offence for the semester
Fair
Occasionally shows unacceptable behaviour
Has occasional relationship difficulties with classmates
Has committed quite a few minor offences and accumulated 6-8 demerit pts for the semester
OR
Has committed at most 1 major/serious offence for the semester
Students who have committed offences to the extent above will be immediately given a FAIR grade overall, regardless of performance in other areas.
Poor
Has accumulated 9 or more demerit pts from minor offences for the semester
Has committed at 2 or more major/serious offence for the semester
