This year, we played a total of 4 matches in our group. We knew that it would be challenging as our opponents do have a good track record. However, we also know that it is important to also give our best and persevere. Thus, while we put in our best effort to train and prepare for the games. We also conducted team talks to build our mental resilience and set team goals for our team to work towards.
The NSG was an eye-opening experience as we get to go against many netball teams in the zone and it is also a good time of building team chemistry. The matches were good learning experiences for us as we realized the importance of communication on court, and how we had to work with one another on court. The games also allowed us to strive towards a mindset of excellence as we persevere against stronger opponents and try to achieve our team goals.
Although we did not advance to the next round, we are still grateful as this experience was a valuable learning experience for us. We are also grateful to be given the opportunity to represent the school at the National School Games this year.
We want to thank the school leaders and teachers for their unwavering support as they have always prayed for us and encouraged us before we go for our matches. We would also want to thank our teachers-in-charge Mdm Faz and Miss Lee, and our coach, for their constant guidance and support during this journey. Lastly, we will also want to extend our thanks to our CCA mates for supporting us on court and off court.
Thank you very much!
