Today, we will be updating you on our Basketball B division NSG journey. Last week, we completed our preliminary round matches and we are proud to announce that the team has made it through to the quarterfinals. 

Throughout the 3 matches we played against Northlight, Acs(I) and Holy Innocents', we won 2 and lost 1 which was against ACS(I). It was a tough match against them but we still managed to pushed through and gave them a good fight.

Our toughest game was probably against Holy Innocents' as that was the match that determine whether our sch will qualify for the quarter-finals. Good news is that we managed to hustle hard and fight back and eventually win the game. Although we won, we knew that we still have a lot of things to improve on, for example: our passing, defence and teamplays. 

Throughout the 3 matches, it allowed us to identify our mistakes and further improve our skills to ensure such mistakes would not be repeated. We are expecting the quarter-final matches to be tougher. However, I believe that the vigorous trainings we have undergone will prepare us for what is to come and we will do our very best

To add on, I would also like to say that we are proud of our team for giving their best on the court. For example, we could hear the continuous support and cheers from the bench which showed other schools what is the TEAM KCP spirit. It  really helped to boost the confidence and morale of the team and knowing the team is encouraging us made us even stronger. 

On behalf of the basketball team, we would like to thank our coach , Mr Chung and Mr Sitoh for giving us an opportunity to represent our school in the National School Games. I would also like to thank all of you who have been supporting us throughout our games. Please continue to support our school basketball team and we hope to bring more good news the next time.
