As Thoughtful Leaders, we explore learning through care, choice and agency because learning is meaningful when it is accompanied by passion and options. Hence, we have a two-pronged approach to supporting Student Initiated Learning during the HBL day.
As Thoughtful Leaders, we explore learning through care, choice and agency because learning is meaningful when it is accompanied by passion and options. Hence, we have a two-pronged approach to supporting Student Initiated Learning during the HBL day.
Approach 1
Because we want you to own your learning and enjoy it (experience agency), we have a curated list of programmes that were designed after a survey of your interests and needs. Every Semester, you will get to select the learning of your choice from the School Curated Programmes (SCP).

Approach 2
An even more exciting option is for you to work out a plan to pursue an area of interest independent of our programmes. We call this Student-Initiated Learning Pursuits (SILP). These learning goals are determined bottom-up. If you decide on SILP, you do not need to apply for one of SCP in the school.
