Parents/Guardians will be informed by the school on their child's:

Form A will be sent to parents via Parents Gateway if your child is eligible for HMTL. The form must be completed by the deadline indicated in Parents Gateway.

Students will have to confirm the acceptance of the offer of Third Language and complete the online registration with the respective centres:

Art Elective Programme and Music Elective Programme

Parents/Guardians may apply for Art Elective Programme (AEP) or Music Elective Programme (MEP) online for their child to undergo a central selection exercise.

Students who have successfully enrolled into AEP or MEP will need to attend weekly lessons at the following external centres in the afternoons.

Welcome and Introduction

Dear Parents/Guardians,

You will receive a call from the Form Teachers between 22 and 23 December 2022.

The purpose of the call is to -

  • Introduce ourselves and welcome you to our SSS family

  • Inform about your child's class allocation

  • Provide reminders for first day of school matters

  • Provide information on MOE FAS for books and uniform matters

  • Speak about Letter of Offer to take on subjects at a more demanding level and/or Form A if your child is eligible for HMTL

  • Clarify any query you may have

Letter of Offer to take on subjects at a more demanding level via Parents Gateway

Two layers of responses are required -

  • To accept the offer, 1) select Yes to respond, 2) Yes to accept the offer

  • To reject the offer, 1) select Yes to respond, 2) No to reject the offer

Sec 1 Parent Engagement Session & CCA Orientation

Join us on Friday, 13 January 2023, 4.00 pm to 6.30 pm!

Parents/Guardians, please register for the first Sec 1 Parent Engagement Session on Friday, 13 January 2023, 4.00 pm to 6.30 pm.

This session will be conducted in a hybrid manner. Parents/Guardians are invited to join us in school or to attend the session online (Zoom webinar).


Session Overview (For Parents)

4.00 to 5.15 pm: Principal's address and talks by Key Personnel

5.15 to 5.45 pm: Interaction between Form Teachers and Parents/Guardians

5.45 to 6.30 pm: Visits at the CCA booths


Note that only the talks will be streamed 'live' on Zoom.

Interaction between Form Teachers and the visits to the CCA booths will only be available for parents who join us physically in school.

This session is very important for you to find out matters pertaining to school and your child’s/ward's development. You will be able to meet our Principal, Key Personnel, and our Parenting Support Provider on the following matters

4.00 to 5.15 pm: Principal's address and talks by Key Personnel

This segment will be conducted 'live' for Parents/Guardians who are attending physically or online through Zoom Webinar.

5.15 to 5.45 pm: Interaction between Form Teachers and Parents/Guardians

Parents/Guardians are invited to your child's/ward's classroom to have a dedicated physical meeting with your child’s/ward's Form Teachers who will speak with you about your child/ward.


5.45 to 6.30 pm: Visits at the CCA booths

Parents/Guardians will have the opportunity to find out about the various CCAs offered in our school by exploring the various CCA booths set up.

CCA Orientation

Secondary 1 StaRs will explore the CCA booths on the same day from 2.30 pm to 6.00 pm. Your child/ward will receive more information regarding this event in the first week of school.
