Those who studied here in the mid-1970s and earlier would have memories of donning a school uniform comprising a pair of dark blue shorts and a white shirt that was matched with a similarly coloured blue tie. This iconic blue symbolized the early era of the school. We even had our own school song that was different from the present one.

The 1970s brought on many changes to the educational landscape. The new khaki uniform with the striped green tie would have been the most memorable change for a Stephenian amidst the country moving forward with nation building. Through our conversations we learnt that this change was done across all Lasallian primary schools in the mid-1970s to provide a unified look and feel for the community. It was also around this time that we transited to our current school song that is sung by all the De La Salle schools in Singapore.
