Let's go make some cheese!
Making cheese at home using only vinegar is possible and can be a great way to explore cheesemaking.
First, you’ll need to pasteurize the milk by heating it. Then, you’ll slowly add an acidic agent, such as vinegar or lemon juice, to the milk, which will cause the proteins to break down and form curds.
The curds and whey will need to be separated, after which you’ll cook and salt the curds to give them flavour and texture.
Finally, you’ll shape and age the cheese according to a desired cheese variety and package the cheese for storage.
With some practice, you can make delicious and unique cheese using just lemon juice!
