The Eco-Sustainability Leadership Academy (TESLA) nurtures student leaders with a passion for the environment and the commitment and skills to drive positive and transformative change for a sustainable future. The academy provides opportunities for students to cultivate environmental consciousness, leadership skills and knowledge about current eco-sustainability skills to empower students to step up as proactive eco-sustainability advocates and leaders of the school.
In an attempt to groom students' leadership for sustainable development, Environmental Literacy, Social Science Techniques and Research Program (ELSTAR@TESLA) aims to provide research opportunities for talented students to pursue their interest in the social and environmental sciences. By embarking on scientific research, internships, local and overseas conferences and/or overseas learning journeys, students will learn to integrate and apply perspectives from across the nature sciences, social sciences and humanities in understanding and solving environmental and social challenges. ELSTAR's biggest dream is to nurture future leaders who can drive transformative change for a sustainable future.

The Humanities and Social Sciences Leaders Academy (HSSLA) is a platform for students who demonstrate passion and excellence in the humanities to undergo an intellectually challenging and fulfilling journey to emerge more knowledgeable and critical about the world around them. Through diverse academic modules, competition opportunities and panel discussions, it challenges our Geographers to think beyond concepts learnt in the classroom and to make connections to other aspects of social and political sciences. HSSLA aims to empower members with a multi-disciplinary perspective that has great relevance to today's world and issues.
To extend and deepen our students' understanding of the individual and society, we guide and mentor our students in their participation of the Humanities and Social Science Research Programme (HSSRP) in examining human experiences and interactions. HSSRP is jointly organised by the Gifted Education Branch of MOE and 5 universities in Singapore to provide Secondary 3 and 4 students who have an interest in the Humanities and Social Sciences the opportunity to engage in research under the guidance of academic researchers and lecturers. It is of hope that students will further deepen their interest and curiosity in aspects of humanities and social sciences through HSSRP and pick up research skills that will allow them to further their understanding and investigation within their areas of interest.
