Visual Textures
Big idea: “How do artists make us feel texture without actually touching something?”
In collaboration with our Music department, our young artists were tasked to create an illustration for the musical composition, Peter and the Wolf, written by Sergei Prokofiev in 1936. We bravely explored the possibilities of creating visual texture with oil pastels, and created a collage inspired by the iconic Eric Carle.
